Do the recent tariff changes on shipments to the US affect my order?

Everything you need to know about US shipping and customs duties after the August 29, 2025 update.

Updated over a month ago

Will I have to pay customs duties when ordering from the US?

Our wallpapers are designed and printed in Canada and qualify under USMCA, which means they should be exempt from customs duties. However, due to recent tariff changes and how carriers process shipments, there is still a chance that duties may be applied in error.

Why do we say “there is still a chance”?

Even with USMCA, a carrier may occasionally request fees in error. This is rare but possible.

What should I do if a carrier charges fees?

Please pay the amount to avoid delays, then send us the invoice and tracking number. We will file a dispute through our broker. Refunds are decided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. These fees are charged directly by the carrier and are not collected by Artza.

Are all Artza products covered?

Yes. All Artza product are designed and printed in Canada and qualify under USMCA.

In summary

  • Our products are USMCA-certified.

  • Your order should normally be duty-free.

  • Carrier errors are possible, but we’ll assist you if it happens.
