How to measure your wall for wallpaper

Measuring your wall might sound scary, but it’s actually super easy. Here’s how to figure out how many panels you need.

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Measure your wall width

  • Use a measuring tape to measure the total width of your wall in inches (go from one end to the other, don’t subtract for doors or windows)

  • Divide that number by 24.5 (that’s the width of each of our wallpaper panels)

  • Round up to the next whole number — that’s how many panels you’ll need

Example:If your wall is 100 inches wide:100 ÷ 24.5 = 4.08 → you’ll need 5 panels

👉 We also have a wallpaper calculator available on our website to help double-check your measurements — super handy when you’re planning a full wall.

Step 2: Measure your wall height

  • Measure the height of your wall from floor to ceiling

  • Choose the next size up from the options on our website
(Example: If your wall is 96", order the 98" height)

Step 3: Need a custom size?

No problem! If your wall height isn’t listed, we can totally do a custom panel for you. Just send us a message with your exact height and we’ll take care of it.

And that’s it! No need to overthink it. When in doubt, reach out — we’re always happy to help double-check your measurements before you order.
