What is Peel-and-Stick Wallpaper and How Does It Work?

Peel-and-stick wallpaper is basically the cool, low-maintenance cousin of traditional wallpaper.

Updated over a week ago

It’s self-adhesive (like a big fancy sticker)

Our wallpaper has a sticky backing built right in, so you don’t need any paste or extra tools. You simply peel off the backing and press the wallpaper onto your wall — that’s it!

It sticks beautifully, but gently

The adhesive is strong enough to stay up for years, but gentle enough to remove without damaging your walls. Perfect for renters, seasonal styling, or commitment-phobes (we see you).

Repositionable while installing

Messed up a panel? Don’t panic. You can gently peel it off and realign it before pressing it down again. It’s super forgiving and DIY-friendly.

Designed for smooth, painted walls

Peel-and-stick wallpaper works best on clean, smooth, and dry painted surfaces. It’s not ideal for textured walls, brick, raw drywall, or fresh paint (wait at least 2 weeks after painting).

Looks like the real deal

Our wallpaper is printed with high-quality inks on a textured canvas-like material with a soft matte finish. It doesn’t look like a sticker — it looks like a real, elevated wall treatment you’d find in a boutique hotel or a perfectly styled home.

So if you’re into a quick transformation with zero mess and max impact, peel-and-stick is your new best friend.
